I've just about settled into life up here in the Hudson Valley- it's been a real change of pace from living in Dublin and NYC! After all the apartment-hunting, moving furniture, hiking, and biking, we've finally started to get involved in the Irish traditional music community here in the Hudson Valley. Dylan Foley, Dan Gurney and I have teamed up with Garvan's Bar in New Paltz to offer weekly Irish traditional music lessons on tin whistle, flute, fiddle and accordion!
The lessons will be held on Tuesdays at Garvan's, starting September 5. All levels and ages welcome. Please get in touch with us by sending a private message to our facebook page or by sending me a message here. At the moment we are still figuring out class sizes and numbers, so we don't have an exact time for each class yet (but probably Tuesday afternoon/evening from 4 on).
Also, please let us know if you would be interested in a group class or a private lesson, as we will be offering both. Feel free to spread the word and share our poster on your social platforms.
