Private Lessons with Dylan, Dan or Christina
If you’d like some one-to-one instruction on your instrument, we offer private lessons on fiddle, flute, tin whistle, and accordion. Our private lessons are pretty flexible, so please get in touch with us individually to arrange a day/time that suits your schedule.
Local talent and four-time All-Ireland champion Dylan Foley comes all the way from Highland, and has been part of the furniture at Garvan’s for a couple of years now. When he isn’t touring or recording albums, he offers private lessons on fiddle for all levels. You can get in touch with him for more info by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Dan Gurney comes all the way from the other side of the river (Rhinebeck), and is a master of the Irish accordion. He grew up playing music with Dylan Foley. Dan and Dylan both learned their music here in the Hudson Valley with the legendary concertina-player, Father Charlie Coen. Dan has toured extensively with Dylan Foley as a duo and as part of their 4-piece band, The Yanks. He offers private accordion lessons to people of all levels. Contact him at email@example.com to arrange a lesson!
Tin Whistle & Flute
Hailing from Dublin, Christina is a two-time All-Ireland champion on flute and tin whistle. She learned her music from Sligo flute player June McCormack, and holds a master's degree in ethnomusicology from University College Dublin, where she teaches occasionally. She offers private lessons as well as weekly group lessons on tin whistle and flute. You can get in touch with her to arrange a private lesson at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
